These valves were formerly referred to as “Saunders Patent-type” after P.K. Saunders, developer of the basic design. Simplified Construction – The valve body assembly has only three component parts; body, diaphragm and bonnet. Bonnet is adaptable to any comparable size and valve body regardless of body material.
Easy diaphragm Replacement – Installation of a new diaphragm is accomplished by simply removing the bonnet bolts, lifting off the bonnet assembly, replacing the diaphragm, and reassembling. It is not necessary to remove body from the line.
